Montessori Teacher Training

Choosing to be a Montessori teacher affords you an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children.  Imagine a place where children’s curiosity initiates a hands-on approach to learning in a peaceful and harmonious environment which fosters a joy of learning.  You have discovered Montessori.

Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) was founded by Dr. Maria Montessori to ensure that schools and teachers maintained the integrity of the Montessori approach and philosophies which she developed.  Montessori Schools of Georgia is proud to be an AMI recognized organization providing authentic Montessori to Atlanta-area children.  To be employed as a Montessori Teacher at one of our three campuses you must be AMI trained and hold an AMI Diploma at the appropriate level.  We are fortunate to have an AMI training center right here in Atlanta.  For more information about AMI training we encourage you to visit the Montessori Institute of Atlanta. Candidates requiring financial aid to complete that AMI training may inquire at MontessoriJobs@bellsouth.net.  The Subject line at the top of your email should say: Teacher Sponsorship Program.
